Fuck me... I just can't keep it simple. It started out like a simple sci-fi suit design... the final result is definitely more complicated than what I was expecting from this sketch.

fables part1

Two illustrations based on two fables.The first one is written by Grigore Alexandrescu, a romanian poet ("Toporul si Padurea") and the other one is a Jean de La Fontaine's fable called "The Stag Seeing Himself In The Water".

I went for a painterly feel for these two in particular. And I wanted to create some sort of plot twists in the story that they're telling.
