I kept my self busy for the past 2 days drawing a portrait of my girlfriend and two cars :D
Portrait: graphite on paper (100/70 cm)
Cars: CS6/intuos5 - Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 GT. Basicaly it's the same car, but I wanted to have a little bit of fun playing around with the textures and stickers, graphics whatsoever.

Hey. The first image is a car design that is inspired from the Citroen Transporter(I believe). And I painted another nymph.... basically just a hottie dressed in an ancient greek-like outfit.

Music section:
French group DIRTYPHONICS released a new album. It's called "Irreverence". Also they have released the Walk In The Fire E.P. featuring 2 dope remixed versions of "Walk In The Fire" song made by Schoolboy and Culprate. I know, right? Dirtyphonics, Schoolboy and Culprate on the same fucking EP.... EPIC!!!!

some old portraits

Another nymph and some random old portraits from my sketchbook. They are quite small in reallity, usually I draw two of them on a A3 size paper and I used graphite and charcoal.

Have you ever heard of Lorn? He's an electronic music producer from USA. Lorn released in 2010 one of the coolest weird-ass chill-out experimental electro music album that I've ever heard. It's called "Nothing Else". My favourite song it's "Glass and silver" but the whole album it's a blast.

The first one is a nymph. I started playing last night God of War Ascension and it's very inspiring :P The rest of the drawings are just some aircrafts. I'm currently learning how to render metallic surfaces and I'm also trying to improve my designing skills. The last one it is a sketch of a Ancient Astronaut. The character is based on a Dogu statuette.

Okay, so I started today trying to reproduce a screenshot from the trailer of Start Craft II - Heart of the Swarm. I spent on it @ 3h.
The second image is a concept sketch for a charcater from my diploma, Susan Calvin. And the third image is a happy accident. While turning on and off the layers of the previous concept I stumbled upon that. Just some shadows and lights on a neutral gray background and I thought it looked cool so I added an extra white stripe for the contrast.
Now let's talk music. The new EP of KILL PARIS was released yesterday by OWSLA and it's kicking ass. It's called "The A New Earth" and my favourite track is "Slap Me (Candyland Remix)". The EP is filled with electro, dubstep and glitch-hop.

Hey there :D I drew some more stuff. The first one is a doodle, a quick study I did after a photo of my roommate.
Now I would like you to meet my father :D. He's the guy in the second image. As you can see I'm trying out this painterly style, to make the painting look as if it was done in a traditional technique.
The third one I started it like a sketch for my diploma project. Some sort of an animatic for a chapter of the "I, Robot" book.
Hope you guys will enjoy it.

Hey, my name is Alex and I like to draw stuff...

I've decieded to start this blog so I can share my work and my passion for drawing with other people. I don't like talking as much as a I like drawing so I will cut the crap and show you some of the doodles that I've made in the past few days.
